Bette Cahill to read Butterbox Babies at Halifax's Word on the Street
THE WORD ON THE STREET HALIFAX WILL BE HELD ON SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 24, 2006 AT THE CUNARD EVENT CENTRE (FORMALLY PIER 23).

The 12th Annual Word on the Street Halifax will take place on Sunday, September 24th from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m at the Cunard Event Centre (formally Pier 23) on the Halifax waterfront.
Families and fans of all ages will enjoy books, magazines, activities, performers and author readings between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m . all in one place. Hear a Maritime storyteller spin a yarn, pick out a great book from a local bookseller or watch live performances by musicians and actors alike! There will be plenty to see and do at this year's fetival, and best of all, the festival and all of its events are FREE!
